September 06, 2012 The Edge: Amcorp Prop sells London apartment   Amcorp Prop sells London apartment  In The Edge Financial Daily Today 2012  Written by theedgemalaysia.com     Thursday, 06 September 2012 17:00  KUALA LUMPUR: Amcorp Properties Bhd expects to net RM9.69 million gains from selling six apartments in London for £7.72 million (RM37.97 million) between May 21 and Sept 4. In a statement yesterday, the company said the six apartments and parking bays were sold for £7.72 million, just above the £7.58 million that an independent valuer ascribed to them in Oct 27, 2011. The estimated gain on disposal of RM9.69 million is net of disposal cost of RM1.48 million. This translates into a two sen per share net gain for the financial year ending March 31, 2013, it said. About RM18.1 million or 47.8% of the RM37.29 million proceeds raised from the sale will be used for capital investment while RM18.35 million will repay debt.
